1) Reliance Jio Phone may soon get WhatsApp soon :-

Here's a good news for all the users on Reliance Jio's feature phone. In a report it is said that the phone is going to get the whatsapp update soon. So now all those feature phone users will be able to use both Facebook and Whats App in their phones.


2) Aadhaar Linking Deadline for the Indian Consumers has been increased:-


DoT (Department of Telecom has indefinitely extended the time for the Indian Mobile users to link their Aadhaar card to their mobile numbers. In a press release, the DoT said, “In compliance with the directions of the SC, the undersigned is directed to convey the approval of competent authority that the last date of re-verification of existing mobile subscribers through Aadhaar-based E-KYC process, is further extended till the matter is finally heard and and the judgement is pronounced by the Hon'ble Supreme Court,"

Earlier this year, the DoT had set up an automated customer care number for all mobile service providers. Customers had to dial 14546 to generate a one-time password to enable re-verification of mobile numbers.

4.Google is not the most preferred job by the Indians !!



Professionals in India prefer home-grown tech and mobile Internet companies like Directi, Flipkart and One97 Communications (Paytm) more than global giants like Google and Amazon as their workplace, revealed a LinkedIn report on Wednesday.

The LinkedIn report called ‘Top Companies’ includes the ranking of 25 companies in the country that are most sought after by professionals, based on proprietary LinkedIn data and billions of actions by more than 546 million professionals on the platform.

Amazon, which held the second spot for the past two consecutive years in the list, is now ranked fourth in the list after the top three companies – Directi, Flipkart, and One97 Communications, respectively.

Google’s parent company, Alphabet, is ranked seventh in the ‘Top Companies’ list by the professional social network site.

“The ‘Top Companies’ list highlights the companies where professionals in India want to work now, from homegrown companies to global giants,” said Adith Charlie, India Editor, LinkedIn.

“Data shows us that an opportunity to work at solving big problems, rewriting the rules of one’s industry or simply putting a big name on one’s résume could be powerful motivators,” Charlie said.

Ola has dropped 11 spots from the fifth position in 2017 to 16th this year, and McKinsey & Company has made a significant jump from 24th position to sixth.

This year, more than 50 per cent of the companies are new entrants to the list including Directi (first), Anheuser-Busch InBev (fifth), EY (ninth) and Daimler AG (11th) that have given stiff competition to the usual top runners, Adobe (12th), Reliance Industries (24th), and Ola (16th). KPMG India and Oyo, a network of budget hotels in India are the other companies that feature among the top 10 most preferred companies by professionals.

The rankings are based on analysis of flexible hours, a good parental leave policy, and time-off to do more than work to attract and retain good talent.

5. Acer Launches new Gaming Desktop at Rs 3,19,999



Acer on Wednesday launched a new gaming desktop computer – Predator Orion 9000 – in India. The Acer Predator Orion comes with top-of-the-line specifications such as Nvidia GeForce graphics card, Intel Core i9 Extreme processor, Optane memory. The gaming desktop PC costs a whopping Rs 3,19,999 in India and will be available starting today across Croma and Acer Exclusive stores.

The Acer Predator Orion 9000 is claimed to be the first gaming desktop with Intel Core i9 Extreme processor with up to 18 cores along with Optane Memory to be available in India. It supports up to 128GB of DDR4 RAM and comes with a 2TB hard drive storage. As we said, the Acer Predator Orion 9000 is powered by an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti processor for graphics.

Moreover, it comes loaded with liquid cooling feature and company’s Acer IceTunnel 2.0 technology to control the temperature during extensive gaming. Acer says that IceTunnel 2.0 is an advanced airflow management solution that separates the system into several thermal zones, each with an individual airflow tunnel to expel heat.

For connectivity, the Acer Predator Orion 9000 comes equipped with two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports (one Type-C and one Type-A), eight USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports (one Type-C and seven Type-A), and two USB 2.0 ports (Type-A). It overall supports three M.2 slots that help increase the speed, power, and capabilities of the PC while gaming. Besides, there are four PCIe x16 slots provided on the PC that support external video cards.
