How to port-out of Aircel

How to Port-Out from Aircel India by generating UPC :-

So guys you all might be getting several ways to port out over the internet but many times there are some of those getting unsuccessful too. Here, a detailed info has been provided by the Video Freak community on YouTube by taking all the available information over the web.

Before starting, lets go for a bit discussion on what is UPC and MNP ?
Basically UPC stands for the term Unique Porting Code and MNP stands for Mobile Network Portability. Talking about these two terms, having both of them is very necessary to do a successful port out.

So what you should do to port out from Aircel.

Step 1:- Get your UPC code for the Aircel Number you want to Port

This is perhaps the step which many users are not able to complete till now either because of no network in their Aircel sim card or because of getting wrong UPC codes from fake sources.
In order to generate a proper UPC code you should follow these things:-

1) If you are having Aircel Signal in your area till now then go for sending an SMS to 1900 typing PORT <your aircel number>. Generally you should get your proper UPC code from the Aircel servers within 48 hours.

2) The above step might not be done by most of the Aircel users because the company has already taken down the signal in most of the towns and cities. Do not worry we have covered you there too..

Take your alternate mobile number (of course where you are having signal) and go ahead and give a call to the following numbers based on your city where you are currently staying.

Aircel UPC generating numbers:-

Rajasthan: 9782012345
Bihar and Jharkhand : 9852012345
Delhi : 9716012345
Andhra Pradesh : 9700012345
Assam : 9854012345
Kolkata : 9804012345
Tamil Naidu : 9750999209 /9551299210
Chennai : 98410 12345
Haryana : 9802012345
Himachal Pradesh : 9857012345
Karnataka : 9738012345
Kerala : 9809012345
Madhya Pradesh : 9806012345
Maharashtra : 9762012345
Mumbai : 9768012345
Orrisa : 9856012345
Punjab : 9803012345,
Uttar Pradesh : 9808012345
West Bengal : 9851012345

Then follow the IVR menu and keep handy the Aircel 10 digit mobile number as well as the last 5 digits of your old sim card ( not IMEI number ) . That 5 digit number is generally found on the back of your old Aircel Sim which you are trying to port out.

Step 2:- After successful UPC generation you must go to the nearby store of the operator you are wanting to switch.

If you have already generated your UPC code from the above mentioned steps then you are ready to do the MNP request from your nearby stores of the operator you want to switch to...

Head straight away to the nearby store carrying with you the UPC code and your Aadhaar card number. These are the documents needed to do the MNP

Do the in person verification from the shop and verify your identity using the Aadhaar card and submit to the recipient operator the UPC code which you have already generated along with your aircel mobile number.

Take the new Sim Card home and wait for 4-7 working days to get it activated....

Put it into your handset and enjoy the new features of your operator on the same Aircel number.

Please Note:- The rate of doing MNP varies from operator to operator. You could be having to pay Rs 100 to Rs 200 for getting it done. For Jio it is completely free.
